Add tasks via SMS?

ben.shepherd says:
Is adding tasks via SMS possible yet? That would be great as I can't send emails from my phone...

This post explains it better than me.

Does your provider support SMS to email? If I send a text message to a certain address (121, I think Cingular US) and the first line is an email address, it will be delivered as email.

A nice hack, if you SMS-to-email often and are annoyed by the long addresses, is to have a filter set up in an email account of yours to autoforward your SMS's from yourself over to RTM.

I have been trying to add tasks via SMS with limited success. I have been able to add a task, but never one with notes.

I've discovered that the formatting is very specific and it was already detailed in this post http://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/help/228/

It is important to use a space after the tag and a life feed after the value. For example:

T:[spc]calls[LF]
D:[spc]today[LF]

I have a Motorola V3 Razr - does anyone know how to enter a line feed with that phone?

I re-read my post... I meant other details and notes.

I discovered how to insert a line feed on my Razr V3. Okay, well actually I called customer support.

If I press and hold the space button, it moves the text message down to the next line, but not on the email...

Customer support told me, that if I put two of these new lines in, it gets translated as the needed line feed.

Hooray! I can send tags with multiple tags and notes!
