Relative due date for repeating tasks
brrrdog says:
I have a list of weekly tasks. I want to create the list on saturday of every week. Items in this list have different due days throughout the week but can be completed early. For example I create a task that is due on "Thursday" and repeats "Every Saturday". Unfortunately, when a task repeats, it's due date is the next Saturday ( the next repeat date ). It would be nice if the relative shortcuts like "today", "tomorrow", "tuesday" etc, would be preserved in the repeating task and would translate to a hard date at the time the task is recreated.

You may be able to get the functionality you need using a task that repeats using "after".
For example, a task that is due Thursday and repeats "after 2 days" will create the next occurrence in the series based on the date it is completed. If it was completed on Thursday, the next due date would be Saturday. If it was completed on Friday, the next due date would be Sunday.
Hope that helps!
