Adding tasks on site

ethansteinman says:
When I add tasks on the site, I'm confused as to how I can set priority, etc. within the same field as the task.

For example, if I add a task for today, I would type:
"Call the Doctor ^today"
How can I include things like priority and tags within that same field? Or do I need to enter the task, search for it in my to-do list, then use the shortcut keys to set priority, etc.?

Hi @ethansteinman,

It's easy - simply string together the codes, as in the following example.

"Buy milk. ^today !1 @Home #shopping *daily =10min"

The page below goes into smartadd in more detail:

Thanks logandb! That's exactly right. That page gives all the info you'll need on the different shortcuts that are available with Smart Add.
