Problem with e-mail address in Phone contacts list

Apparently, there is a problem with entering the "+" as a character in an e-mail address. My phone presents the error "Invalid E-mail Address" whenever I try to put in the address with the "+" , but not without, so I know that's the problem.
Is there any way to send tasks from my phone? perhaps a different inbox e-mail address?

While the + character should be accepted, some email clients do not accept it. This thread gives a bit more information on the situation.
You may try replacing the + character with %2b.
Also, this thread suggests creating a Gmail or Hotmail account that will automatically forward your messages to your Remember the Milk address.
