Search for tasks with a : in the task name

akrde says:
I am using project names followed by a : in my task names to group similar tasks by projects.

So i have many tasks like "Project1: do this do that", "Project2: do this do that", and so on.

Now i want to find all tasks with "Project1:" in the name, but i don't get any results with such a search.

Searching for "Project1" (without :) does not work, when the string "Project1" is also used in other tasks.

Any ideas how i can solve this issue?

Searching for task names containing ":" will work if you use the name: operator, but you will need to enclose the search criteria in double quotes. For example, type the following (including the quotes) into the search bar:

name:"project1:"

Hope that helps!
