Searching the Forums

derekh4 says:
When searching through the forms it would be nice if you could search for posts that you created/replied to. There is a feature where you can "See topics you've posted in" but this doesn't fully work as it only shows the recent posts (i.e. any threads that are closed are not shown). So it becomes difficult to monitor when your posts have replies.

Then again, the closed threads wouldn't have any replies in them as they are closed ;-)
But I agree that the search/alert function in the forums could be improved.
I use Google to search the forums (xxxx site:www.rememberthemilk.com)

Can you see any reason to "close" threads on a forum, especially ones that are not solved yet? What would really be nice is a client facing JIRA repository similar to what Atlassian and many other organizations have as it seems that is what people are using the forum as.
