Publishing public lists.
anon says:
If I choose to publish a list as being public, the only way someone would be able to find it is with a direct link to the feed correct?
In other words my feeds are not accessible by searching, news aggregators, or google spidering?
Just wondering, I need to make some lists public in order to view them in Google Calendar but I don't neccessarily want anyone else viewing them.
Thanks in advance.

I also, am eagerly awaitingthi answer.
Though I've gone ahead and done it and it's not working, Google says it can't find the calendar -- even though I've made it public. Hmmm.

If you publish your list and choose the 'make my list public' option, anyone will be able to access your list if they know your username (this means search engines can access it too).
Unfortunately Google Calendar does not support authentication for iCalendar subscriptions, so your list must be public for Google to be able to access it (if we don't allow search engines to access it, Google Calendar can't access it either).
