Want my wife to have easy access to tasks

Your wife can add tasks via Gmail also. You may want to set up a shared list; adding tasks to that list would then show for you and for her.
Otherwise, if a shared list wouldn't apply to you, you may want to give her your RTM email address and have her send any tasks to your account that way.
One of those two methods would likely be ideal, but she could also sign in to your account if that would be preferable for any reason.
