last day of month repeat

You may wish to set a to repeat "every 1 month" and set it to be due on the 28th (so it repeats correctly every month). You could also create a task for each month of the year: due on the last day of a month, set it to repeat "every 1 year", and then duplicate the task to create ones for other months.

I've figured out a way to do it with three tasks and always getting the task showing up on the last day of the month.
Task 1
Start on 31st Jan (or any other month with 31 days) and set to recur monthly.
When you click it complete it will recur on the 31st in March, May, July, August, October, December and back to January again.

Start on 30th April and set to recur monthly, so it recurs 30th June, September, November, and back to April.
Task 3
28th of February, recur yearly.

So aside from 1 day on 4 years you should always get a reminder on the last day of the month.

Oh, hang on, that doesn't quite work. I'd still get a task on the 30th of EVERY month except Feb. Damn, I thought I'd cracked it. Could just delete the "rouge" one I suppose.

it appears there's no way to do this currently, which is pretty baffling to me. seems like it would be pretty easy to program in... only 3 different conditions depending on the month... behind the scenes the software could just set either the 28th, 30th, or 31st, based on the month, and the user could just see "every month on the last day" ...
