Can you set tasks to change priorities when they are overdue?

I am looking for a way to have tasks that are overdue automatically go to high priority when they become overdue. Is there a way to do this?

willduan,
There's not a way to do this; sorry. You can create a Smart List that includes overdue tasks (dueBefore:now) and mark them all priority 1, or include both properties in a Smart List (dueBefore:now OR priority:1).

Hope this helps!

Variations on this idea recur periodically, and there is good discussion, and some suggested workarounds, in these threads:

Thank you for the thoughtful and useful replies.
Andrewski, hopefully, given the recurring nature of the issue, this will make its way to a feature request. If I can help by providing detailed use cases, please let me know.
