Postponing recurring tasks

I have a task that I set to recur "every month on the 1st". However, if I postpone that task for the current month until the 2nd, the task for the subsequent month gets postponed until the 2nd as well (even though I set it up for the 1st of every month).

Is there a way to prevent this?

This sounds like your repeat is set for "after 1 month" rather than "every 1 month"; would it be possible to double-check that?

If that doesn't help, would it be possible to submit a Tasks & Lists issue report via our support system, if you haven't done so already?
