Tab Order

jamie.mccoy says:
I saw a RTM comment that re-ordering tabs is not possible but there was an option to ... "but you can force some to the top/bottom by prepending them, e.g. !Top List or @Main List versus zBottom List."

What isn't clear is where the !Top or @Main or zBottom goes to force the top/bottom location ... could you make this more clear - thanks!

You could try this yourself, creating dummy lists, check where they end up and then delete them.

My question was where do you insert the !Top or zBottom text to push a list to the top or bottom row?

Jamie,

The tab order is simple alphabetical sort. The reason "!top" works is because of the leading "!", there are no commands to tell a tab where to go. In my tabs I use !, *, +, @, ~ as prefixes to smartlist names (and they will sort in that order)

Got it - thanks. I thought these symbols would force a tab in a specific location. Will wait for the feature enhancement ... thx!

Use the Bit Better RTM extention in either Firefox or Chrome and you can reorder the tabs as much as you want.
