How does one change the address of a location?

You're right; this isn't currently supported. Sorry for the inconvenience.
However, there's an easy workaround:
1) Rename your current "Location" location to "Old Location".
2) Create a new location called "Location".
3) Search for tasks located at "Old Location" by searching for: location:"Old Location"
4) Select all results by clicking on the Select "All" link (or pressing the keyboard shortcut, 'a').
5) Set the location for the selected tasks to be "Location" rather than "Old Location".
You'll just need to do this twice, once for home and once for work.
