SSL & TLS (https) / iPhone

My post relates to this one: http://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/help/4812
but I am also wondering the following:
1. When visiting the site using the https URI, does Remember The Milk use SSL or TLS?
2. Is there a button on the site to switch to https or do we have to manually type it?
3. Will there be an option in the future maybe to always use https (like Gmail--which Emily had mentioned)?
3. Does the native iPhone app default to using one of those secure connections, and if so, which one?
4. If not, how can I opt to use a secure connection when using the iPhone app?
Thanks!
P.S. Maybe you could add the answers to these questions in the FAQ, as more and more services these days are using SSL :) (e.g. the Twitter iPhone app always uses it and there's no option to turn it off).

Hi pattern86,
Both the site and the app use SSL. You must visit HTTPS manually for the site, but the iPhone app uses it automatically.
From our iPhone FAQ: Your device communicates with our servers using a secure HTTPS connection to transfer both login details and tasks data. HTTPS is a secure protocol that provides authenticated and encrypted communication.
Hope this helps!
