RTM doesn't sync?

rzuch says:
I run RTM on 2 computers (work & home). Today I added and modified several tasks at work over the course of the day; at the end of the day I shut the computer off. When I return home I run RTM to find none of the changes/additions I did at work show up. So I have to try to remember all of them and add them again.

Should the sync happen automatically or should I be doing something to assure my work is uploaded to the web?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Do you use Google Gears at work or at home?
You may have to make sure that you switch from offline to online mode.

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit a Tasks & Lists issue report via our support system?

Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.

Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.

Thanks!

Yes I use Google Gears on the computer that doesn't sync.
Actually, it doesn't sync when the RTM starts. But it does sync if I hit refresh (F5) in the browser.
So all is well as long as I remember to refresh once, but it would be nice if it synced when first run.

Strange but true: if I add tasks on my home computer, and then restart the RTM, it doesn't show the new tasks! I must refresh the browser and then it shows all of the tasks!

Gears has some problems syncing and is no longer supported, so you may want to disable it to make sure you don't have any problems. (It may just not sync, but you may also lose changes if it doesn't sync in a specific order.)

Hope this helps!
