Daily tasks that don't stay open
benign.reality says:
I have a few tasks that are done (or not done) daily.
Any way to configure the tasks so that they are marked as completed or deleted or something like that the following day?
Currently, if the task is not done, it shows up as overdue the next day (along with the same task due for that day)

Have a look at the options for repeat.
repeat EVERY 1 day
This will create a new task every day whether the task was done or not.
repeat AFTER 1 day
This creates a new task for the day after the task is completed.
i.e. if I don't complete it today, it will show up as overdue but it will not generate a new task for tomorrow.
Hope that helps.

There's no way to do this automatically, but you may wish to change your repeat format to "after 1 day", so the next task is only generated upon completion.
Hope this helps!

Try using the Repeat "After" function. The task will only repeat after you have completed it. In your case I think you'd want to set the repeat to something like :
After 1 day (or maybe it has to be After 1 days)
So if you don't complete the daily tasks today, it will still show up as overdue tomorrow I think (which is not a bad thing, IMO) but it won't duplicate and show the same task twice for tomorrow.
