How to display "All Tasks" list after starting RTM?
(closed account) says:
Whenever I start RTM, the most recent "specialized" list I used before is displayed. This happens even if I switch to the "All Tasks" list before I close RTM.
Now, I'd love to have the "All Tasks" list displayed immediately and always after I start RTM because this is the list I use most often. Is there a way of setting the "All Tasks" list as a default?

Your default list is what the site will load first, and that can be changed from the Inbox to another list. You can check which is your default in your Settings, on the Lists tab. (See more about the default list on our Help page.) Keep in mind that changing it would change the behavior of added/emailed tasks where a list isn't specified.
While only published lists have permalinks in the interface, it is possible to link directly to unpublished lists and Smart Lists too (but you'd need to construct the URL yourself).
The format for URLs is: http://www.rememberthemilk.com/home/username/listid/
You can find the list ID by looking at the print, iCalendar, or Atom feed links (which all follow the /username/listid/ pattern too).
This URL will take you straight to that list (as long as you're logged in). We suggest bookmarking one of these URLs if it's something you wish to access frequently.
For what it's worth, personally I keep my default list as the Inbox (for those added/emailed tasks as I mentioned above) and access the website specifically through a list's URL that I constructed as I mentioned above.
Hope this helps!
