App defaults to tomorrow instead of today

I have this annoying behaviour in my Android App. When I click on the icon, the list for Tomorrow opens. In settings I have put Today as the default list. I don't know how I can reproduce it exactly The only thing I always do is press the home-button whenever I''m done with Rmilk.

Then after a while (perhaps after a sync?) I reopen the app and the focus is on Tomorrow instead of Today.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it a feature?
I hope you can help me make my day a little less annoying.
app version is 1.3.1.

I've had this happen in the past. Just shutting down and rebooting the phone sets things right again.
