When I send tasks to my boss I have to give him a verbal notification that i've sent him some new tasks, it would be preferable if he was notified automatically that he has new tasks in his Inbox.

It's not currently possible to receive an email for a received tasks, but your boss could monitor his Inbox's Atom feed.
