postponing a task bug

I have seen many posts about setting up repeating tasks on the end of the month. These are problematic when there are 31 days. However this bug is a bit different.
One of my favorite features of RTM is the ability to set a task and specify that it is due in the future. Using the carrot symbol "^" followed by the period allows me to put things forward. For example:
Call mom ^tomorrow
Call mom ^Tuesday
Call mom ^Sept 15
Call mom ^1 week
Call mom ^1 month
The last one listed above is where the bug exists. If today is August 31st, and I set a task for "1 month", it places the task on October 31st (2 months) which is when the next month with 31 days exists.
I shutter to think of a task setup on Feb 29th put forward for one year. Will it get posted 4 years later on the next leap year?
Has this been addressed anywhere?
