Behaviour of repeating tasks with no due dates
ameuret says:
By design a repeating task that has no due date "waits" to be completed before triggering the next deadline.
Most of the time, it means that people unaware of this peculiarity will never be reminded. This is especially nasty because the task will never appear overdue since it has no deadline.
This has confused many people and I think this behaviour should be improved.
From a user point of view (and what else is relevant?), what seems to be the simplest cure would be to add a due date when a tasks is switched to "repeating". At the very least, there should be a clear warning: "DON'T BE MISTAKEN BY THE CYCLIC ICON, THIS TASK WILL NOT RESPAWN"

Thanks for the feedback.
Also, keep in mind that even with a due date, an "after…" repeating task will only regenerate based on the completion date.
