Repeat Task at a set time

Probably a newbie question but...
Is there any way to set a time on a repeating task:
when I have tried it he task repeats but it keeps the original date.
ie a daily repeated task for 9pm will always have the same deadline date as the first task.

Hi Patrick,
If I understand correctly, you're asking if it's possible to set a different time in a repeat than you have set for a due date. Assuming that's what you're asking, that's not currently possible; you can only set a day/date for a repeat, not a time.
What you could do is to set a time for the current task and then change it to a different time once you've completed that instance.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or if I've misunderstood. :)

Hi Andrew,
thanks for your reply but that is not quite what I am after.
I have a daily chore - e.g. Make my lunch for tomorrow which I want to appear at 9pm each night Sunday through Thursday.
I can get it to repeat Sunday through Thursday but if I specify the time in the original task (ie 9pm) it also duplicates the date part - presumably as this is all stored as a single date/time datatype.
Thus on Sunday the 1st I have a task with a due date of 9pm on the 1st. I complete this task and now a new task is created for Monday 2nd. What I would like to happen is that it has a due time for 9pm on the Monday but instead it is created with a due date of 9pm on the 1st.
If I do not specify a deadline time then repeat tasks set are created with the correct date.

Perhaps I still don't understand what you're looking for, but this seems to work correctly:
Due: Thu 19 Aug 10 at 9:00 PM
Repeat: every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Once tonight's is complete, the next instance is due Sunday evening at 9:00 PM as expected.
Would that work for you? Or are you looking for something else?

Rajjan,
No it does not matter to me (or do you mean does it have an effect on the repeat date) if i complete the task before or after 9pm. It is just that that is the time that I usually finish doing stuff for today and start looking at what needs to be done for tomorrow.
As such it would be nice to be able to my task list by due date and see the stuff which is due for the morning appear before the stuff which is due for the evening.
In terms of repeating I have used "every sunday and monday and tuesday and wednesday and thursday"
