Can you complete a task via Google Talk?

I searched for this, but couldn't find anything...
I like getting reminded of tasks when they are due by Instant Message on my Gtalk client. Is it possible to reply back with a "!completed" message, so that the task is updated? (either on google talk or any other IM service?)

You can, however, complete tasks via Twitter.
