gMail Updated, Extension Disappeared in Chrome

Today Google rolled out a pretty big gMail update (http://bit.ly/aiDhGz). Since this occurred, the Remember The Milk extension sidebar has completely disappeared (at least in Chrome, gMail version 16744744).
Hopefully once this is fixed, we'll also again be able to edit task fields in the gmail extension, as described here (http://bit.ly/d5AqP1). For this editing problem, I submitted a help request on 6/9, but was told my gMail version wasn't supported.

This doesn't affect the extension any more than the numerous previous changes to the Gmail version.

the good thing is that today was the first time in months that gmail didn't collapse when I opened it!
The gadget is working, so I have a mini-version of RTM on the left side of the screen. It's not great, but it's better than nothing.
