Consolidated list of tasks?

Is there a way to view a list of my tasks with ONE entry for any repeating tasks with a note about the repeat value. Currently if I view all my tasks, I get a ton of copies of my daily and weekly repeating tasks. I'd like a view that will give me a clean consolidated list of my current set of recurring tasks without duplicates.

Currently if I search for isRepeating:true I get this:

- clean Inbox to zero 1/1/2010
- run virus scan 1/1/2010
- clean Inbox to zero 1/2/2010
- clean Inbox to zero 1/3/2010
- clean Inbox to zero 1/4/2010
- run virus scan 1/8/2010

When what I want to see is this:
- clean Inbox to zero (daily)
- run virus scan (weekly)

You'll always see any past instances for uncompleted tasks. You can either mark past instances complete or change the repeat type. In both cases, I'd think an "after…" repeat would work better anyhow.
