why don't ANYTIME tasks show on RTM widget?

This depends on what you've selected to show in the widget you've added; this would work for "All Tasks" or "Specific List" (assuming the list or Smart List you've selected doesn't exclude undated tasks).
The default option, "Today", doesn't show undated tasks because it's limited to what is either overdue or due today.
