Inbox Email Address has invalid character

The problem is that the + character is treated as invalid on my Exchange service provider. Is there any way to change the Inbox EMail Address to not include non alpha-numeric characters?

Unfortunately not; it's a valid character for email addresses, so it may be worthwhile to discuss this with your IT department to see if there's anything they can do. (I'm not sure if it's an Exchange bug that doesn't allow it or something configurable.)
