Regenerating tasks

prhilton says:
I'm sorry if this has been answered before - I browsed the forums and FAQ and was unable to find an answer.

I have several tasks set up to repeat weekly. Let's say that I have tasks due this Saturday and I complete them today, on a Tuesday. After they are completed, the tasks immediately regenerate and I have the same tasks on my to-do list, just with NEXT Saturday's date. Is there a way to set it up so that these tasks regenerate after their last due date, instead of upon completion? Toodledo has this option, but I still prefer RTM - especially if I can get this figured out! I really benefit from the visual of seeing my to-do list dwindle down!

Thanks.

No, the task will repeat depending on the repeat interval:
After: On completion
Every: When the current instance becomes overdue

You could try using smart lists and the Sleeper tag method.

I've tried changing the repeat command to a lot of different things, including "every 1 week" and "after 1 week" and still haven't had luck.
