Gmail RTM firefox extension screwing up Gmail's layout

apm says:
I installed the RTM Firefox extension and 7 out of 10 times the Gmail UI gets mangled up like this:

Refreshing the page works but this issue is a frequently recurring problem.

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit a Gmail issue report via our support system?

Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.

Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.

Thanks!

I don't know if the OP submitted a bug on this or not, but this happens to me as well. Windows XP Firefox 3.6.x and Mac OS (Snow Leopard) Firefox 3.6.x.

This is repeatable about 75% of the time which makes the addon difficult to use. I use gmail for personal mail and my company uses the Google Apps version which also displays this problem.

Thx

I am experiencing the same thing on Windows 7 with Firefox 3.6.3. Refreshing the page corrects the problem.

It happens repeatably the first time Gmail is opened in a session. After I refresh it, the layout stays the way it should for the remainder of that session. I can move messages around and click on different messages in different labels and it's fine. As soon as I either close the browser or close the Gmail tab, the problem will reappear the next time I open Gmail.

I have another machine with Windows 7 and the same version of Firefox, but I don't have the RTM add-in installed and I never see the layout problem.
