Use old account from same e-mail address

In April 2009 I created an account that I didn't use much, then in late August I created a new one (using the same e-mail address).
Well, now I'd like upgrade to a pro account, using the first username, but I don't know how to recover it. If I ask to reset my account, only the second one is reset.
Any clue about how to do that?
