Complete a task in the past, add a task as due in the past

Greetings,
I use RTM as my ticketing, incident reporting, bug tracking, and "justify my paycheck to those with the power of life and unemployment" tool.
I would like to be able to add a task as completed in the past. The reason is, sometimes (I shouldn't, but I do) I actually complete a task very quickly, within a minute or an hour of when the need for that task became evident.
All too frequently, these tasks never get added. Sometimes they get added the next day, or a week later, and so I modify my task names to things like:
"Investigate stupidity with merchant account XXXXX (was completed 2010-01-15).
Now, this DOES allow me to create my reports (from my list "travail achevée"), but it would look much better if I could just add a task as due in the past, and preferably complete it in the past.
I see I am not the only crazy person who asked about this before. Please see the following closed thread:

Thanks for the superb product, excellent support and great user community.
PS. The capacity to create a print view without a printer, while staying within RTM would save me about 2 hours a week too.)

Ewen,
One way that you may be able to work around the print view issue you mention is to use a screen shot program like Full Shot to create your own print view.
