Smart Add: A Way to Ignore Operators?

(closed account) says:
Hello - I was wondering whether there was a way to ignore the operators when using smart add. Currently, if I'd like to name a task "Program #9", 9 would be added as a task name. If I type \#9, then the task's name is a literal "Program \#9".

Is there a different escape operator that I haven't tried or another implementation I don't know of? Any help on this matter would be great - thanks!

PS - If nothing exists, maybe using a single quote would be a great way to ignore an operator.

You can either surround a portion of the task name in quotation marks, e.g. "Program #9" or prepend the task name with ~, e.g. ~Program #9.
