If you add "#listname" to the name of the task (without the quotes) when you add it, the task will be added to the relevant list instantly

Besides janniklindquist's suggestion to use Smart Add, you can move a list via the More Actions combo box at the top of your list; there's no faster way than that.

Thanks folks. I think I need to remember this when I am posting to the inbox.

Also -- I think I didn't explain my original intent clearly -- I usually like to just dump stuff into the inbox and then file later. So... I was looking for a quick way to move from the inbox to other lists.... but I guess there really isn't a way.

I think having the list as one of the fields on the right, with due date, estimate, tags &c. would be good, as you could just tab through those fields and assign the new list really quickly.

There is a Firefox and Chrome addon called "A Bit Better RTM" that allows you to drag and drop between lists.
