Time zone problem?

I noticed today (after months of no issues) that the time zone settings have gone awry. The date/time in the top right of my screen are at GMT time, not at my time zone. I checked my settings, and they were correct. Furthermore, changing the time zone setting had no effect.

This is making life very confusing. Help!

Any chance that you're using a dev build of Chrome?

There's a timezone bug that's been introduced in Chromium recently -- hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Ok, checked it in Chrome, and it's definitely a Chromium-based problem. Also the page mentioned lists the bug as fixed in Chromium 5.0.362.0 build 43079. I'm on 5.0.365.0 (42923). I guess I'll just have to wait it out...
