Basics
How does Remember The Milk work with Evernote Reminders? This feature automatically syncs your Evernote Reminders with Remember The Milk. When you create Reminders in Evernote, they'll be added to your Remember The Milk account. You can edit and complete them in either Evernote or Remember The Milk, and we'll keep everything up-to-date! Just head to our Evernote page and click the "Connect Evernote" button at the top right to connect your Evernote and Remember The Milk accounts.
Remember The Milk will synchronize the task name, due date, and completion status (incomplete or completed) with Evernote Reminders. You can change any of these properties in either Evernote or Remember The Milk, and we'll keep everything up-to-date.
More advanced task properties (priority, repeating, time estimate, tags, location, URLs) are supported in Remember The Milk only.
When you make changes in Remember The Milk, they'll sync instantly to the Evernote servers. The Evernote apps sync periodically with the Evernote servers, so you may need to wait a few minutes to see the changes (check your sync settings in Evernote to see how often your app updates). To get the changes from Remember The Milk immediately, just press the sync icon in your Evernote app to manually sync.
Likewise, when you make changes in Evernote, they'll sync instantly to the Remember The Milk servers. Our apps support push syncing, so the changes will be shown instantly in your Remember The Milk app.
Important Note! Make sure you have the sync schedule set to 'Auto' in the settings sections of the Remember The Milk mobile apps and MilkSync for Microsoft Outlook. (The web and desktop apps will always sync in realtime.)
When first synced, Evernote Reminders will be added to your default list in Remember The Milk. Learn how to change your default list. Once your Evernote Reminders are in Remember The Milk, please feel free to move them to other lists.
It's not yet possible to sync Evernote Reminders for Evernote Business accounts, sorry! Evernote's Webhooks feature (which we rely on for our integration) doesn't support Evernote Business accounts just yet, but hopefully they'll add support soon!
