subtasks inherit properties of parent task

jrrt says:
I would like to have a setting choice which, when enabled, would cause subtasks, as they are created, to automatically be given the tags, location, due date, etc etc of the parent task. Some of them might need to changed, but for me, many of them should be the same.

Of course, the preset values should be editable and not convert back to the parent task's value once they are changed. To state the obvious

+1 - This would help to save time if the tags from the parent would be automatically inherited into the subtasks.

A corollary to this would be awesome if the parent task natively inherited the latest date of its child tasks. Managing them independently is confusing.

I never use subtasks because it creates way too much overhead. This would fix that.

It was confusing that this is not already the default...

I've used other systems that do this and it's really handy. Enables one to avoid a ton of extra typing or clicking.
Ideally inheriting parent tags would be an optional capability.
