I don't set a due date for any of my tasks so the netvibe module isn't that useful for me.

To make it more useful, it would be nice if you could configure it to display a list or tag of our own choice.

I don't see a need to be able to browse lists and tags. Just choosing one of either should be sufficient. At the minimum, people could control what appears in netvibes by assigning the task a specific tag.
