How to remove Google Calendar Daily Gadget

You can remove it the same way as any gadget: there is a Close "X" button in the upper right of the gadget. See this image:

It wasn't RTM blocking Google Calendar, but Firefox extension "Webmail Ad Blocker" (version 2.7.0) which introduced Google Calendar features (that don't work on all my systems). Disabling them solved my problem! :)
