Dates Randomly Change
koricov says:
I find that due dates for tasks randomly change on me. Usually a day forward, or a day back. This seems to be so basic to me, and so unbelievable important for a to-do and task management service. Any ideas?
Thank you.

Koricov,
You might want to check your time zone setting on the settings / general tab.

I have a similar problem, I don't see how the time zone can change that since I usually only move within one hour. Usually, tasks that I have postponed by one day end up getting back on the current day after a few minutes.
It seems to be a recent issue, for the past week or so.

Timezones shifted by one hour will still affect tasks as the internal due date for a task sets the time as midnight. (See a past topic.) That's almost always the issue when you notice this kind of behavior.

I corrected my timezone 5 days ago as this came up, and didn't seem to have any issues for a while.
However, today I've still had a task that I keep postponing to tomorrow move back to yesterday (and thus appearing overdue) several times. This doesn't seem to be consistent with the timezone explanation any more, especially since it moves back 2 days, not just one.

It could also be a Gears issue, thinking of the other most common cause for this kind of thing.
