Is there a limit to the number of notes?

I am wondering if there is a limit to the number of maximum notes allowed under a specific task? I would like to utilize notes on a long term basis for some tasks and want to be sure I wont hit a limit.

No, there's no limit; the only problem you may run into is scrolling the page if your notes are very long. :)
