When I complete a task that repeats “after 1 day” it pops up again as due today.

If I change the repeat to ‘after 2 days’ and complete it, it pops up as due tomorrow.
This is recent – formerly it would pop up as due the next day, as desired and expected. I’m using Firefox 3.5.3 and IE 6 – it happens with both browsers (same PC). Any suggestions?

This sounds like it could be either a timezone problem or a problem with Gears.

Would it be possible to double check to make sure that your timezone setting in Remember The Milk matches your system timezone on any computers where you use the site? It's also important to check the location of the timezone to make sure that they match.

To change your timezone, click on 'Settings' at the top of the page.
- Click on the 'General' tab.
- Locate the 'Timezone' option, and choose the appropriate setting.
- Click the 'Save Changes' button.

As for Gears, can you check to see if you have it installed in each browser? The easiest way to do so is to look on the header of the website for either Offline (no Gears) or a green arrow (Gears). You can also look under the Tools menu to see if Gears Settings is listed there or on Google's site for more instructions specific to your OS/browsers.

Hope this helps!

My timezone setting in Remember The Milk does match my system timezone setting, and I don’t seem to have Google Gears installed.

Oddly, if I delete the offending task and then create a new, identical one set to “repeat after 1 day”, the new task correctly shows up as due the next day when I complete it. So I have a decent workaround, I guess.

Interesting. Is it possible you added the problematic task while in a different timezone? RTM doesn't support different timezones, so even an offset of a few hours could affect the due date.
