Smart Add repeat syntax
paleolith says:
I entered
>>> progress report every saturday
and RTM created a task "progress report every" and scheduled it for Saturday, no repeat. So I tried
>>> progress report *every saturday
and RTM made a task with the correct repeat specs but didn't schedule it!
Is it unreasonable to expect that, given either entry, RTM would create a repeating task AND schedule it?

That does make sense, but what Smart Add does is set each property based on what you typed. Setting a due date manually wouldn't set the repeat, nor would setting the repeat set the due date.
We'll be looking into this. In the meantime, you may already have realized that you can add the task the way you want by specifying both, e.g. progress report saturday *every saturday.
