Collecting tasks completed on a certain day of the week

ghovnanian says:
I am in the process of evaluating my job description, and proposing a potential shift in hours. I know that in my week, I typically reserve Fridays for the more time intensive projects because there are no meetings and I get more contiguous time to work.

Can anyone think of a way to search my completed tasks by day of the week for the last 6 months? I want to compare what work I finished on Fridays versus what work I completed on Tuesdays, for example.

This without going through the entire list and manually filtering.

If you view your completed items, click the print view, save the resulting HTML, import to Excel, convert from text to columns, and use the open parenthesis as the delimiter, you can then make the resulting list into a pivot table and you'll get a day of week summary in no time.

Very roundabout, I admit, but it should do the trick.

Roundabout? Yes. Did it work? Perfectly. Thank you. And it reminds me how much I need to re-acquaint myself with PivotTables.

I amso pleased that helped; it's such a roundabout thing I was nervous to suggest it.
