But, I bring it up again because, seriously, the Events export is broken right now.

There really isn't any point in exporting an events list if there aren't durations for events (or the ability to change durations in the subscribing calendar -- which, since it's a subscription, you cannot).

So, since there is a TODO export and an Events export which allow you to choose which lists you are exporting - why not add an EventsWithDuration export which includes time estimates as well? Then nothing is broken, everyone can do the same thing as before, but people with event lists that have durations (that follow the event) have a fix.

If you're worried that duration should precede the event, then make 2 new exports EventsWithDurationPre and EventsWithDurationPost and let people pick which way they want to export certain lists (they could use either one for different situations, and make smart lists to collect items for each export).

And, even with adding both lists, this is about a 15min hack. It's the best of all worlds.

(p.s. don't add task dependencies; I'm not trying to feature creep, I'm just trying to help fix this broken feature)

+ 1: Why not create calendar defaulting to an hour, but just override it with the actual time estimate if someone took the effort to explicitly define it.

You think the man in the $3000.00 suit is gonna wait for Events with Durations? Come on!
