User scripts and security

Is anyone else out there nervous about installing Greasemonkey or Stylish user scripts for RTM? Right now, I'm just playing with RTM (though I went pro for the iPhone app), and limiting that playing around to personal tasks. I'm not worried that someone will snoop that I need to replace my front gate or pick up milk at the market, but I would eventually like to transition my work-related tasks to RTM, too, and I need to have a certain comfort level about security before I do that.
It seems to me, the only way to keep this data secure would be to always connect via https and not to install any user scripts.
Do most of you using scripts also have a spyware detector installed? I'm a mac user, and even non-mac sites say a spyware detector is a waste of money, but I'm willing to trade a little money for peace of mind.

Wow, I am really surprised there are no responses to this. There are even larger security issues that that user scripts (like gmail gadgets, and the physical security of RTM's servers, e.g.). But it doesn;t seem to be of concern to anyone. Are most people using RTM solely for personal task management?
