After recent updates of RTM and/or iPhone firmware, I can no longer edit task notes --- when I hit "Edit" button of a note, the iPhone soft keyboard pops up and then immediately pops down. I can highlight a section of text and copy it; but can not cut or paste.
RTM for iPhone v.1.1.1
iPhone firmware 3.1
iPhone 3Gs 32GB
P.S. I can still add new notes to a task; but once done adding, I can not edit the notes.

Hi, Robert.
Please would you drop an email to Support about this. I have reported the same issue and I think they were trying to reproduce the problem.
Thanks

Submitted the issue, just to be sure it's noticed ASAP.
Since it appeared just after the iPhone 3.1-update, and the 3.0 also caused some inconvenience, it looks like we ran into a new upgrade incompatibility :-#
Let's hope the fix arrives soon!

Unfortunately this is a bug introduced by iPhone OS 3.1 -- I've now posted about it on our status blog. We're working on a workaround to resolve this; I'm sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime. :(

Would love to see this fixed soon, as it makes a big usability hole.
One workaround is:
- Go to the note, select all and Copy
- Delete the note
- Create a new note and Paste what you copied
Not convenient :)

You can also edit notes via the iPhone website. Not convenient if you're not connected to the internet, but otherwise it's another option.

New user looking for a basic GTD system. I like what I see so far but this is holding my back from going Pro.

Is there any progress with resolving the "disappearing keyboard"when editing notes?

Sorry I previously posted this in another topic, I think we have a few duplicates around here. :)
We're currently awaiting Apple's approval for our update that resolves this issue -- so hopefully this should be available soon.
