Exporting list to iCal shows completed tasks

Hi,

When I follow the instructions to subscribe a list to my iCal it seems to sync all of my tasks (not just the upcoming but the completed ones as well). How do I just have it show my pending tasks or events? I have no need to see the tasks that I have already completed.
