After renaming from "something" to "#something" my tasks all lost

Today i tried to publish/share a list with my chef, no problem.
The current name of the list was "something" then i changed it to #something, because my chef asked for it.
I played a little bit with publish and share, added and removed contacts etc.
there was more than 120 completed tasks (i need them for the expenditure of time) and two ToDo's, now there are all lost.
I really don't know why, what's happend? My chef is using the iPhone app, maybe he has synchronized that and deleted all? I know i just published it.
Is it possible to backup it like it is 12:00am today?
Best regards, and thank you for your time,
Michael

If you haven't done so already, would it be possible to submit a Tasks & Lists issue report via our support system?
Please select the issue that you're experiencing from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, just click on "I'd like to report a new issue" on the left.
Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.
Thanks!

You should probably refrain from using the # key. RTM seems to use it for batch process deletion.

@andrewski: Thank you for your help. I'll do this.
@dwhock: Thank you too. Yes, unfortunately, this is what i guess because my tasks got deleted.
