Blackberry - adding tasks to handheld - not syncing
rhaggin says:
I downloaded Milksync yesterday. All of my rtm tasks appeared on my Blackberry Task lists perfectly. Last night I "added" tasks in my Blackberry, and categorized them properly to the correct rtm list. I added these tasks through the Blackberry Tasks application. When I logged into my pc at work today, I am not seeing any of the tasks that I added in my Blackberry last night. I have manually performed milksync, but the tasks added in my BlackBerry will not "show up" in my rtm list online. Yet, if I mark a task complete on my Blackberry, run milksync, the task will update as completed @ rtm online and disappear from my list. Through this trial and error process I have concluded that Tasks added into the Blackberry Tasks application will not "sync up" and appear in the correct rtm list online. Is this correct?

This synchronization should work as you expect.
Two things to check:
1. In your RTM Settings, click on the Sync tab and make sure it's set to synchronize "all lists".
2. In MilkSync, go to Menu | Options, and make sure Direction is set to "Both". It sounds like this is already set (if completed tasks are synchronizing) but it's worth checking.
Also, for a given task that isn't showing up, can you search online to see if it's showing up in an incorrect place?
Last, can you try adding a task to that list on the website and synchronizing? That should put the task on your device, and I'm curious how its properties show up compared to the tasks that you've added on your device.
