Can I add or remove a tag from a group of tasks without changing unrelated tags?

Hi Folks
I'd like to select a group of tasks and, say, add the tag s-next to them. Or remove the tag s-next from each if it exists.
I DON'T want to clobber all the other tags that are already attached to each task. Seems like there's got to be a way to do this! Thanks for any help you can offer!

You can add a tag to a bunch of tasks using multi-edit, just type the new tag after [Multiple] (DO NOT delete [Multiple]).
However, you can't delete tags the same way. Either you go to settings and delete the tag there (but that deletes the tag in all tasks, maybe not what you want) or you edit one task at a time (maybe several, as long as they have exactly the same tags, RTM will show these tags instead of [Multiple].)
Actually, RTM doesn't use [] around Multiple, but the correct symbols (smaller than+larger than) are stripped by the forum code.
